Shoots Will Strudd's Newest Cheese Project

Dean Cambray:  "International TV host of Cheese Slices and author, Will Studd, asked me to photograph his most recent book, Melt, a collection of sumptuous cheese recipes.   For this assignment I used a combination of natural and artificial light to evoke a rustic, homely warmth threading the pictures together to create a homogenous whole. Yet, each photo his it's own unique lighting arrangement with a subtle use of highlights and shadows to emphasize the characteristics of the individual dishes."

Food Photographer, Dean Cambray Joins KS Reps

I am so pleased to announce and welcome Food Photographer, Dean Cambray to the group and to Chicago!

 

Australian Food Photographer, Dean Cambray traveled 10,000 miles, has relocated and is now calling Chicago home. 

Dean has combined his lifelong love of photography with his other love of food.  His photographic work has been published extensively in magazines, advertising campaigns, he has been featured in a number of exhibitions and his work can be seen in in seventeen published books. 

Dean has also had the honor of collaborating with many remarkable chefs creating visually stunning cookbooks.  In these cookbooks, not only can you can see his passion and skill as a food photographer; but collaborating on these cookbooks also gave him the opportunity to showcase his other talent, food styling.
